Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Basketball athletes with a national level or above in competition, aged 18-25, without metabolic diseases, digestive system disorders, or other similar conditions.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Physical activity was assessed using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire, ensuring that participants maintained the same level of physical activity and training schedule throughout the study period. Individuals who had used nutritional supplements, appetite suppressants, pain relievers, or any substances that interfere with metabolism in the past three months were excluded.
