Eligibility

Sex/Gender
All
Age
18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age > 18 years. 2. Pathologically diagnosed as non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC); staged as II-IV according to the 8th edition of the AJCC staging system. 3. Planned or already initiated first-line platinum-based chemotherapy (cisplatin or carboplatin) or chemoradiotherapy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Lower extremity injury or trauma (e.g., amputation, knee/hip injury) prior to hospitalization that prevents ambulation. 2. Presence of severe primary systemic neuromuscular disorders leading to significant weakness (e.g., Guillain-Barré syndrome) before ICU admission. 3. Intracranial or spinal lesions that affect motor function. 4. Conditions that prevent the measurement of lower extremity skeletal muscle via ultrasound or severely affect the accuracy of ultrasound measurements. 5. Hematological, liver, or renal abnormalities prior to treatment initiation, including: hemoglobin (HgB) = 2.0 mg/dL; total bilirubin >= 1.5 times the upper limit of normal; alanine aminotransferase [ALT], aspartate aminotransferase [AST] >= 2.5 times the upper limit of normal.
