Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Children diagnosed with GDD by pediatric specialists according to the diagnostic criteria of the International Classification of Diseases, 11th Revision (ICD-11) or the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5); 2) The age norm of the Gesell Developmental Schedules is less than 6 years old; 3) The developmental age of the child is within 6 years old when the informed consent of the parents or guardians is obtained; gender is not limited; 4) The family uses Mandarin as the main communication language; 5) Able to follow the written and verbal instructions of the researchers and able to comply with all tests and requirements.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Severe physical illness or sensory/motor impairment, such as hearing or vision impairment, physical deformities in the hands/arms, including unstable seizure disorders, which may prevent children from using touch-screen devices such as electronic tablets. 2) Traumatic head injury or genetic/neurological disease, severe mental illness such as diagnosis of schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, severe obsessive-compulsive disorder, severe depression or severe anxiety disorder, or other mental disorders that the researcher believes may confound the research data/assessment; 3) Severe problem behaviors; 4) Diagnosis or parent report of color blindness (clinically confirmed by ICBT); 5) Previous participation in research such as children's digital cognitive intervention or past exposure to the application; 6) Have a brother/sister who also participated in the current study.
