There are no obvious symptoms or mild in early stage of esophageal carcinoma. The typical symptom is progressive dysphagia.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.ESCC confirmed via digestive endoscopy combined with biopsy. 2.Underwent single-port inflatable mediastinoscopic radical esophagectomy (SIMRE). 3.Tumor center located in the thoracic esophagus. 4.Age between 18 and 80 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Previous malignancy or chest radiotherapy before neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy. 2.History of major thoracic or abdominal organ resection. 3.Serious organic diseases and dysfunction, such as acute cerebral infarction or severe sequelae, hypertension, diabetes, or arrhythmia. 4.Preoperative evaluation confirming distant metastasis.
