Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adolescent Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Patients: 1. Diagnosed with OCD according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5) criteria through a structured clinical interview (SCID-V); 2. Age between 10 to 18 years old; 3. Voluntarily participate in the study, with parental consent and have signed an informed consent form; 4. Able to understand written instructions and complete questionnaires; 5. Score of =16 on the Children's Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale; 6. Han ethnicity, right-handed; 7. Not using any medication for obsessive-compulsive disorder for at least 8 weeks. Healthy Control Group: 1. Age between 10 to 18 years old; 2. Voluntarily participate in the study, with parental consent and have signed an informed consent form; 3. Able to understand written instructions and complete questionnaires; 4. Han ethnicity, right-handed.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient Group: 1. History of substance abuse; history of mental disorders that meet the SCID Axis I criteria; history of brain injury, epilepsy, or other brain diseases; 2. Laboratory tests indicate liver or kidney dysfunction or other severe physical illnesses and metabolic disorders; 3. Not suitable for MRI examination; 4. Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 5. Family history of epilepsy or personal history of seizures. Healthy Control Group: 1. History of substance abuse; history of any mental disorders that meet the SCID Axis I or II criteria; history of brain injury, epilepsy, or other brain diseases; 2. History of loss of consciousness; 3. Positive family history of mental illness in two generations and three degrees; 4. History of use of antipsychotic or antidepressant medications; use of benzodiazepines or other central nervous system affecting drugs within one month before MRI; continuous medication treatment within the past 6 months; 5. Uncooperative or unable to effectively complete tests during the examination; 6. Laboratory tests indicate liver or kidney dysfunction or other severe physical illnesses and metabolic disorders; 7. Not suitable for MRI examination; 8. Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 9. Color blindness.
