Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Hospitalized patients who meet the western medical diagnostic criteria for SAP; 2. Chinese medicine diagnostic criteria for Visceral Solid-Heat Conjunction; 3. Aged 18-70 years old; 4. First diagnosis of AP, onset time not more than 48 hours; 5. Organ dysfunction (refer to the Improved Marshall Score > 2); 6. Blood calcium less than 2 mol/L (refer to the Ranson Score > 3);

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with SAP caused by trauma, pregnancy, medication, tumor, or surgery; 2. Patients with severe heart, liver, kidney diseases or blood or immune system diseases; 3. Pregnant and lactating women; 4. Patients who are allergic to the medications involved in this study; 5. Patients with less than a course of treatment (7 d); 6. Patients who are unable to determine the efficacy of the treatment due to incomplete clinical data.
