Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Non-cardiogenic single-lesion cerebral infarction group: 1) Patients have no contraindications to MRI examination, are in good general condition, and can cooperate to complete the examination; 2) The first onset of cerebral infarction is within 3 months, and DWI shows infarction in the brainstem or basal ganglia (including the basal ganglia nucleus commissure and its surrounding white matter, internal capsule), thalamus, and lateral ventricle (including the semiovale center), and the onset is unilateral; 3) No other neuropsychiatric diseases; 4) No drug treatment that may affect clinical evaluation; 5) Voluntarily participate in this study and sign the informed consent form; 6) Patients are aged 18-80 years old. Normal control group: 1) Matched with the infarction group in age, gender, education level, and handedness; 2) No history of craniocerebral trauma; 3) No history of intracranial lesions and mental illness. Cardiogenic cerebral infarction group: 1) Patients have no contraindications to MRI examination, are in good general condition, and can cooperate with the examination; 2) Patients clinically diagnosed with cardiogenic infarction ,the onset is within 3 months;diffuse cerebral infarction is consistent with the distribution of artery-to-artery embolism, there is evidence of cardiogenic emboli detachment, and large artery atherosclerotic cerebral infarction is excluded. 3) No other neuropsychiatric diseases; 4) No drug treatment that may affect clinical evaluation; 5) Voluntarily participate in this study and sign the informed consent form; 6) Patients aged 18-80 years old.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Low level of consciousness, muscle rigidity or spasm; 2) Claustrophobia and any contraindications to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI); 3) Unable to cooperate in completing the examination or scale.
