Experimental Group:The change of tooth movement sequence in the treatment design of clear aligners: the upper anterior teeth 3-3 retraction after evenly dispersed 0.5mm gaps
Control Group:The tooth movement sequence commonly used in the treatment design of clear aligners: the upper anterior teeth 3-3 retraction with no gap.

12 Years to 45 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Treatment of malformed patients who need to have their maxillary or mandibular bilateral first premolar extracted; (2) Maxillary oval or pointed arch shape, anterior teeth crowding degree <= 4mm; (3) Anterior teeth overbite <= 5mm; (4) The amount of anterior tooth adduction is about 4-6mm, and the proximal movement of the posterior teeth is less than 1mm; (5) 12-45 years old, permanent dentition, complete eruption of second molars; (6) The hard palate is well-developed, without cleft palate, and the palatal folds are clear and complete; (7) No history of orthodontic treatment, good dental crown shape in the mouth, and no fixed restorations; (8) The patient voluntarily accepts tooth extraction with clear aligners; (9) The patient has good compliance and can be revisited on time.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with severe hypertension, diabetes, coronary heart disease and other basic diseases; (2) Have taken drugs that affect bone metabolism; (3) Pregnant women who cannot undergo X-ray imaging; (4) Severe periodontitis and temporomandibular joint disease exist; (5) Abnormal morphology of dental crowns or roots caused by various reasons; (6) Patients with porcelain crowns, metal crowns, and other restorations in the mouth who are prone to developing artifacts during CBCT imaging; (7) The patient refused to accept tooth extraction with clear aligners; (8) Poor patient compliance.
