Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Males or females aged >= 1 year and <= 60 years old; 2.Diagnosis of medically refractory epilepsy; 3.Patient proposed for vagus nerve stimulator placement; 4.Subjects or their guardians are able to understand the purpose of the trial, have good adherence to the trial protocol, participate voluntarily and sign the informed consent form;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Suffering from mental illness and unable to cooperate with treatment; 2.Accompanied by intrauterine distress, obstructed labor, cerebral hemorrhage, and other conditions that may lead to secondary epilepsy; 3.Severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, severe liver and renal function abnormalities, and other systemic illnesses that have serious impacts on health; 4.Pregnant or intending to be pregnant women, and breastfeeding women; 5.Neck trauma, skin ulcers, and structural abnormalities of the blood vessels in the neck; 6.Those who, in the opinion of the investigator, should not participate in the clinical trial;
