The researchers assisted patients in setting clear, actionable goals for salt control behavior
The patients rated the saltiness of three meals a day and reported their ratings to the researchers weekly

Patients join the control salt we-chat group and get points by participating in knowledge answering and sharing
comparsion:The researchers provided dietary health education to the patients.

18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age 18-60 years old. (2) Confirmed essential hypertension (SBP >= 140mmHg and/or DBP >= 90mmHg measured three times on different days in resting state). (3) Be able to read and answer questions correctly, and be able to fill out questionnaires independently or with the help of investigators.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients who are receiving other dietary interventions or blood pressure control interventions. (2) Patients with liver, kidney and other vital organ dysfunction, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. (3) Patients with mental illness and cognitive dysfunction. (4) Patients with hypertension who are using diuretics.
