Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients with primary Parkinson's disease who underwent bilateral STN DBS under general or local anesthesia at our hospital; 2) No history of previous brain surgery; 3) Did not take anti-Parkinson's disease medications before surgery; 4) Did not take sedative-hypnotic drugs before surgery; 5) Did not take antipsychotic drugs before surgery; 6) No intracranial hemorrhage occurred during surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Those who have undergone previous brain surgery; 2) Those who took anti-Parkinson's disease medications before surgery; 3) Those who took sedative-hypnotic drugs before surgery; 4) Those who took antipsychotic medications before surgery; 5) Those who experienced intracranial hemorrhage during surgery.
