Interventions

Preoperative chewing gum group:Chew 2 pieces of xylitol chewing gum for 15-30 minutes 2 hours before surgery.
Post-operative chewing gum group:Chew 2 pieces of xylitol chewing gum once every 2 hours and 6 hours after surgery, each time for 15-30 minutes.
Preoperative + Postoperative Chewing Gum Group:Preoperative chewing gum (same as preoperative gum group) + postoperative chewing gum (same as postoperative gum group)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? Age = 18 years old; ? Meets the indications for elective cesarean section surgery; ? Anesthesia is performed using intrathecal anesthesia; ? The mother and her family are aware of the content of this study and agree to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? History of gastrointestinal surgery; ? Patients with limited mobility; ? Patients allergic to chewing gum; ? Patients with chewing dysfunction; ? Severe comorbidities: malignant hypertension, eclampsia, preeclampsia, placenta accreta; ? Patients with psychiatric disorders
