Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age range: Participants should be aged 60 and above to meet the definition of "elderly" and to meet the research's focus on elderly patients with chronic diseases. 2. Chronic disease diagnosis: the subject should be clinically diagnosed as suffering from at least one chronic disease, such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, arthritis, etc. These diseases should be in a stable period and not require hospitalization due to acute attacks. 3. Exercise ability: Participants should have a certain level of exercise ability and be able to participate in exercise interventions according to research requirements. This includes the ability to complete designated exercise tasks such as walking, cycling, strength training, etc. 4. Informed consent: Participants or their legal representatives should fully understand the purpose, methods, risks, and potential benefits of the study and voluntarily sign the informed consent form. 5. Compatibility: Participants should be able to participate in follow-up and data collection according to the study's required schedule, including baseline data collection, regular evaluations during exercise interventions, and final evaluations at the end of the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Acute illness or infection: Participants should not suffer from acute illness or infection during the study period to avoid affecting the effectiveness and safety of exercise interventions. 2. Serious complications: Subjects should not suffer from serious complications related to chronic diseases, such as active pulmonary tuberculosis, severe heart failure, renal failure, etc., which may increase the risk of exercise intervention. 3. Cognitive impairment: Participants should not have cognitive or consciousness impairments to ensure understanding and compliance with research requirements. 4. Limited autonomous activity ability: Participants should be able to move independently without relying on the help of others. Subjects with limited autonomy due to illness or disability may not be suitable to participate in this study. 5. Other contraindications: Depending on the specific type and requirements of exercise intervention, it may be necessary to exclude subjects with specific contraindications. For example, for certain strength training programs, it may be necessary to exclude subjects with osteoporosis or joint diseases.
