Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1)Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (HAMD-17) score greater than 17. (2)Diagnosis of depression according to the DSM-5 criteria. (3)Current depressive episode confirmed by the Kiddie-SADS Lifetime Version (K-SADS-PL), a structured diagnostic interview for mood disorders and schizophrenia in children and adolescents. (4)Age between 12 and 18 years; gender is not restricted. (5)Subjects must be able to understand and agree to comply with the clinical trial protocol, provide informed consent, and have consent from a legal guardian to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1)Contraindications for MRI or TMS. (2)Presence of severe physical illnesses or neurological disorders. (3)History of schizophrenia, tobacco, alcohol, or other substance use disorders. (4)Patients who have received TMS or ECT (electroconvulsive therapy) or other forms of neurostimulation within the past two months. (5)Subjects deemed inappropriate for inclusion by the investigator.
