Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Presence of mild or higher anxiety (GAD-7 total score =5); 2) Presence of academic anxiety (AEQ-Anxiety score of 3 or higher on any entry); 3) Age of 18 years or older; 4) Currently enrolled in full-time undergraduate or graduate studies; and 5) Ability to fluently operate a smartphone or computer.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: 1) risk of suicide or self-injury (PHQ-9 suicide entry =2 or SBQ-R =7 points or answering yes to any C-FASM entry); 2) presence of major depressive mood (PHQ-9 total score =20); 3) risk of mania (ASRM total score =6); 4) risk of schizophrenia (CPQ-16 total score =9); 5) alcohol abuse risk (AUDIT-C total score =9); 6) currently receiving psychotherapy or psychiatric medication.
