Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Normal group: 1. BMI < 24 kg/m² and not diagnosed with diabetes or other pancreatic diseases; 2. Aged between 18 and 70 years old; 3. Informed consent of the individual or legal representative. Obesity group: 1. BMI = 24 kg/m² and not diagnosed with diabetes or other pancreatic diseases; 2.Aged between 18 and 70 years old; 3.Informed consent of the individual or legal representative. T2D group: 1. Diagnosed with T2DM and not accompanied by other pancreatic diseases; 2.Aged between 18 and 70 years old; 3. Informed consent of the individual or legal representative.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Other types of diabetes (e.g., T1D); 2.Other diseases of pancreas (e.g., pancreatitis); 3. Systemic autoimmune diseases that may damage pancreatic tissue (e.g., systemic lupus erythematosus); 4.Severe systemic inflammation that may damage pancreatic tissue (e.g., systemic inflammatory response syndrome); 5.Advanced tumor invasion of pancreatic tissue; 6. Aged under 18 or above 70 years old.
