Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Adult patients aged 18 to 65 years; 2.Diagnosed with a grade IV ankle fracture of either the supination-external rotation (SER) or pronation-external rotation (PER) type, based on radiographic imaging, in accordance with the Lauge-Hansen classification; 3.Underwent standard closed reduction and internal fixation surgery, with uniform internal fixation materials; 4.Experienced an initial ankle fracture, with no prior history of lower limb fractures; 5.Voluntarily participated in the study and signed a written informed consent form; 6.Capable of understanding and completing the questionnaires and assessment tools required for the study; 7.Recent ankle fracture patients.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Presence of severe fractures or soft tissue injuries in other body regions; 2.History of diagnosed severe mental disorders, such as depression, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder; 3.Presence of peripheral nerve damage or significant vascular injury; 4.Diagnosis of chronic systemic diseases, including severe cardiovascular disease, hepatic insufficiency, or renal insufficiency.
