Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. The patient had primary critical illness and was in the acute stage, and the Glasgow coma scale (GCS) score was = 8; 2.Meet the criteria for mechanical ventilation indications and have been treated with ventilator-assisted ventilation for 72 hours; 3. The patient had diaphragm dysfunction: diaphragm thickness < 2mm, diaphragm thickening fraction <20%; Diaphragmatic mobility < 10mm; 4.The skin near the sternocleidomastoid muscle is intact and can be fully exposed; 5.Hospitalization= 2 weeks; 6.Older than 18 years old and less than 80 years old; 7.Informed consent signed by the patient or family member.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Pre-existing chronic respiratory diseases; 2.Combined with severe respiratory disease or infectious pleural disease; 3. Combined with new rib fractures; 4.The patient has a pacemaker or other implant in the body; 5.The patient's diaphragm structure is damaged or the diaphragm cannot be evaluated by ultrasound; 6.The patient's vital signs remain unstable under advanced life support.
