1. Obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS): (1) Manifestations include daytime somnolence, severe snoring during sleep and recurrent episodes of breathing pauses

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.In the adult OSAHS database of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University, from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2023, data of OSAHS and non-OSAHS individuals (without suffering from other systemic diseases) could be recorded, such as BMI values, smoking history, alcohol consumption history, cardiovascular disease history, values of various blood biochemical cholesterols (LDL, HDL, TC, TG), AHI values, gender, age, and marital history. 2.All the populations with OSAHS data from the NHANES public database during the periods of January 1, 2005 to December 31, 2008 and January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2018.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Neither in the adult OSAHS database of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University nor in the NHANES public database were the BMI values, smoking history, alcohol consumption history, cardiovascular disease history, values of various blood biochemical cholesterols (LDL, HDL, TC, TG), AHI values, gender, age, marital history of the OSAHS and non-OSAHS populations recorded.
