Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Colorectal cancer patients: 1) Age range: 18-75 years old, gender not limited; 2) Patients with colorectal cancer and >= 1 metastasis, clinically classified as stage III, who meet the diagnostic criteria and are confirmed by pathology; 3) The subjects voluntarily joined this study, signed an informed consent form, and showed good compliance. Healthy volunteers: 1) Age range: 18-75 years old, gender not limited; 2) No inflammatory gastrointestinal disease, no history of gastrointestinal surgery in the past 5 years, and no obvious gastrointestinal discomfort symptoms in the past 2 weeks; 3) The subjects voluntarily joined this study and signed an informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Pregnant, breastfeeding, or unable to cooperate; 2) History of other primary tumors; 3) Suffering from dementia or significant mental state changes that prevent them from understanding or expressing informed consent; 4) Fecal discharge through a stoma; 5) Individuals who have a history of taking antibiotics or probiotics within the first 4 weeks of collecting fecal samples; 6) Diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, and other gastrointestinal discomfort within 2 weeks prior to enrollment; 7) Serious damage to the heart, liver, kidneys, or hematopoietic system; 8) The condition is severe, with obvious cachexia, and the expected survival time is <= 3 months; 9) The researchers believe that the subjects are unable to complete the study or comply with the requirements of the study.
