Aromatherapy group (A group):Group A patients were given a refreshing and memory enhancing compound essential oil during the day and a sedative and sleep promoting compound essential oil for inhalatio
Surgical control group (S group) :Patients in group S were not given any intervention measures during the perioperative period.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged 65-80 years old, ASA grade I-II, BMI 18-28kg/? (2) Planned orthopedic surgery under general anesthesia (3) MoCA scale score = 26 points (4) Agree to participate in this clinical trial and sign an informed consent form
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Mental or neurodegenerative diseases; Taking antipsychotic drugs, antidepressants, or other medications that affect the central nervous system; (2) History of upper respiratory tract infection within 3 weeks; Previous nasal or sinus diseases or surgical history; Respiratory diseases such as rhinitis, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, etc (3) History of cranial tumor or cranial surgery; History of head and facial trauma or surgery (4) Thyroid disease, cerebral infarction or other diseases can cause olfactory dysfunction in individuals (5) History of severe smoking, alcohol abuse, or drug addiction (6) Individuals with severe visual and auditory impairments who are unable to cooperate (7) Previously used aromatherapy; Individuals allergic to essential oils selected for this study (8) Previously participated as a neuropsychological evaluator
