Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with REM sleep behavior disorder: age >= 40 years; meet the diagnostic criteria of REM sleep behavior disorder in ICSD-3. 2. Patients with a-synucleinopathies: age >= 40 years; age and gender matching the REM sleep behavior disorder group; clinically diagnosed a-synucleinopathies (including Parkinson's disease, Lewy body dementia, and multiple system atrophy). 3. Control : age >= 40 years; age-sex matched to the REM sleep behavior disorder group.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder excluded: narcolepsy; epilepsy; neurodegenerative disease; major physical illness. 2. Patients with alpha-synucleinopathy excluded: narcolepsy; epilepsy; major physical illness. 3. Controls excluded: diagnostic criteria for REM sleep behavior disorder in ICSD-3; narcolepsy; epilepsy; neurodegenerative disease; major physical illness.
