Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for the experimental group 1. Worst pain in the past 6 weeks with a score of at least 3 on a 10-point visual analogue score (VAS) or NRS; 2. At least two items in the past 6 weeks, including but not limited to running, walking, squatting, walking stairs, kneeling, or sitting for a long time, causing persistent pain behind the patella and/or around the patella for at least three days; 3. Positive patellar extraction test and patellar grinding test, PFJ pain occurred when squatting on one leg at about 60°; 4. Subjects in the subtalar joint abnormal group are required to have flexible flat feet; 5. The subject on the other lower limb is required to have no musculoskeletal system disease. Healthy control group inclusion criteria 1. Worst pain in the past 6 weeks with a score of less than 3 on a 10-point VAS or NRS; 2. Any movement in the past 6 weeks, including but not limited to running, walking, squatting, walking stairs, kneeling or sitting for a long time, will not cause persistent pain behind the patella and/or around the patella; 3. Negative patellar extraction test and patellar grinding test, no PFJ pain in squatting about 60° on both legs and single legs; 4. The subtalar joint is in a normal position and the arch is normal; 5. After consultation and special orthopedic examination, there are no musculoskeletal diseases in any joint of the lower limbs.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. a history of surgery, congenital malformations of the lower extremity (pedal paravalvular syndrome, etc.), severe trauma (fractures, ligament ruptures, etc.) with other medical conditions affecting the line of force of the lower extremity 2. History of patellar dislocation; 3. those who have received any lower extremity joint therapy within 4 weeks; 4. PFPS subjects with other conditions that can cause anterior knee pain, such as fat pad inflammation, patellar tendonitis, etc; 5. After questioning and special orthopedic examination, it is found that the hip and ankle joints are suffering from any kind of musculoskeletal system diseases; 6. Those who cannot tolerate reflective ball fixation such as intramuscular effect patch allergy; 7. Those who have mental and psychological illnesses that affect the assessment and cannot cooperate with the test; 8. Excluding overweight and obese people (BMI greater than 24) and underweight people (BMI less than 18.5).
