18 Years to 60 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age range: 18-60 years old 2. No previous or current mental illness other than depression; 3. No antibiotic use 1 month prior to the trial; 4. No plans to go off-site for three months; 5. Meets Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-V) diagnostic criteria for depressive episodes; 6. Hamilton Depression Scale, 17-item version, total HAMD score >17 ; 7. Agreed to participate in this study and signed a written informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Family history of mental illness within two lines and three generations; 2.History of addictive substance abuse; 3.Obvious physical illness; 4.Infectious diseases (e.g. syphilis, AIDS, hepatitis B, tuberculosis); 5.Women during pregnancy and lactation; 6.Suffers from creatine deficiency syndrome and other diseases related to creatine metabolism.
