Epidural-related maternal fever

Interventions

experimental group:After completion of epidural puncture placement, 0.15 mg/Kg dexamethasone was injected through the epidural catheter
control group:After completion of the epidural puncture, an equal volume of saline was injected through the epidural catheter.

20 Years to 35 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The patient herself or her authorised family members had signed the informed consent form. 2. The maternal gestational week is 37-42 weeks, and there is no abnormality in the previous antenatal examination. 3. The last laboratory examination before labour analgesia is free of abnormality and the infection index is normal. 4. The mother is a primigravida. 5. The body temperature is lower than 37.2? at the time of standard operation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Temperature monitoring suggests 37.2? or above within one hour after completing the standard operation of labor analgesia. 2. Mothers with chronic diabetes mellitus or gestational diabetes mellitus. 3. Mothers with other high-risk infections during labor, such as epidural catheter dislodgement and trauma. 4. the patient or family request to stop the experimental maternal
