12 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) patients who were poisoned by oral administration of diquat and were seen within 72 hours of poisoning; (2) patients whose blood and urine samples from poisoned patients were clearly present after mass spectrometry tests; (3) age greater than or equal to 12 years; (4) diagnosis of psychiatric disorders made by a specialist.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) patients who were not orally poisoned; (2) patients who had combined ingestion of other lethal doses of poisons, such as paraquat; (3) patients who suffered from sepsis, cardiac failure, severe hepatic or renal disease, malignant tumors, and other terminal illnesses or other life-threatening conditions prior to the onset of acute intoxication; and (4) patients who suffered from epilepsy, uncontrolled autoimmune encephalitis, central nervous system infection, patients suffering from cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral infarction, or severe closed craniocerebral injury resulting in impaired neurological function within 3 months; (5) patients with mid- to late-stage pregnancies; (6) patients younger than 12 years of age; and (7) patients with poorly documented medical history data.
