Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. patients without other treatment before hepatectomy; 2. patients with Child–Pugh stage A or B; 3. patients with pathologically confirmed HCC; 4. patients with normal cardiopulmonary function and could withstand surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients with a positive resection margin; 2. patients with recurrence within one month after the operation; 3. Patients who died within three months after surgery; 4. Patients with other malignancies; 5. Patients who underwent preoperative radiofrequency ablation or other intraoperative adjuvant treatments.
