Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-65 years; 2. a diagnosis of plantar heel pain for three months duration, irrespective of diagnostic labelling; 3. average pain level over the past week scoring =3 on the numerical rating scale (NRS); 4. in case of bilateral planatr heel pain, only the side with more severe pain was included; 5. be able to understand and use Chinese accurately and clear to express his/her wishes; 6. be able to operate intelligent equipment
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Complaints of heel pain caused by trauma; 2. physiotherapy for red flags 3. common differential diagnoses: (GP or Sports Physician) suspected osteoarthritis of the subtalar or talocrural joints; suspected tarsal tunnel syndrome, stress fracture; infection or tumour in the painful foot; presence of a systemic disease (e.g. ankylosing spondylitis, psoriasis, or multiple sclerosis); and any medical treatment of the foot in the last 3 months, including but not limited to; 4. other discomfort or inability to complete the treatment plan, such as changes in cognitive function, senile myasthenia gravis, physical factors and other contraindications to treatment
