Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: consecutively included: elective pediatric patients aged 2-18 years (excluding 18 years), ASA I-II, undergoing general anesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: (1) the patient's family or himself/herself did not authorize the informed consent; (2) inability to lie on the right side; (3) abnormalities of the upper gastrointestinal tract anatomy or a history of abdominal surgery affecting the ultrasound examination (including a history of previous esophageal and gastric surgeries, etc.); and (4) failure to meet the criteria for preoperative fasting and abstinence from food and drink;
