Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Meet the diagnostic criteria for episodic arousal; 2. Patients with drug-refractory epilepsy; 3. Scalp electroencephalogram (EEG) confirmed that the patient had sleep seizures; 4. Completed 3.0T cranial magnetic resonance imaging (thin-slice scan) and PET-CT scan; 5. Implantation of intracranial electrodes is required according to preoperative evaluation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Sleep seizures were not caught after implantation of intracranial electrodes; 2. Arousal as a manifestation of status epilepticus; 3. Patients with night terrors, nocturnal walking, nightmares and rapid eye movement disorder; 4. Patients with anxiety, depression and other mental abnormalities; 5. Combined with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS); 6. Obvious epilepsy-related side effects such as drowsiness, fatigue, cognitive impairment, and dizziness; 7. History of long-term use of sleeping pills in the past; 8. Occupational characteristics such as sleep inversion.
