Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria: Patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) to be recruited by our institution within the next 3 years a. Meet the diagnostic criteria for acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) as outlined in the 2019 Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Acute ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction; b. First occurrence of STEMI; c. Undergo percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) within 12 hours of symptom onset.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Old myocardial infarction; left bundle branch block, atrial fibrillation, cardiomyopathy, severe valvular disease; contraindications for reperfusion therapy and MRI examination; poor MRI image quality.
