Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Consecutive elderly patients with lung cancer, who underwent pneumonectomy in Beijing Hospital from January 2011 to December 2023 were enrolled. The inclusion criteria were: (1) age = 65 years; (2) undergoing pneumonectomy (VATS/open thoracotomy, including lobectomy, segmentectomy, wedge resection, and so on); (3) postoperative pathology was lung cancer.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) patients with incomplete clinical records; (2) patients with unclear postoperative complications.
