Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients with chronic heart failure: (1) diagnosed with chronic heart failure according to the Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Heart Failure (2018) [21], (2) NYHA cardiac function class II., III., IV., (3) age = 18 years old, (4) disease course = 3 months; (2) Family caregivers of patients with chronic heart failure diseases: (1) family caregivers who are = 18 years old, (2) and have cared for the patient for the longest time, provide care assistance for = 3 months, and (3) provide care support for family members with chronic heart failure free of charge; (4) Normal cognitive and language functions; (5) Those who are conscious and have informed consent to voluntarily participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Family caregivers with severe speech, hearing, visual, cognitive, and reading impairments, as well as family caregivers who were unable to cooperate in completing the questionnaire; and (2) those who refused to participate in this study.
