Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged between 18 and 40 years old, right hand, normal vision or corrected vision, BMI <35; 2.Patients diagnosed with sciatica have typical symptoms of sciatica, skin segment distributional radiation pain caused by lumbar 5 nerve root compression, accompanied by or without neurological defects; 3.Lumbar MRI examination shows 5 nerve root compression in the left or right lumbar; 4.The duration of symptoms is more than 3 months; 5.The pain intensity score before the experiment (or one week) is 4-8 points, excluding both end values (0 points for no pain, 10 points for the most severe pain imaginable); 6.It is necessary to have a physical condition suitable for MRI scanning, such as being able to lie flat in a narrow scanner and withstand the time and limitations of the scanning process.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.5 nerve root compression on both sides of the lumbar spine, or central canal stenosis of the lumbar spine; 2.Multiple radiculopathy; 3.Spinal cord lesions; 4.Spondylolisthesis or scoliosis; 5.Other known diseases, such as spinal tumors, neurofibroma, hereditary neuropathy, metabolic diseases, fractures, infections, chronic inflammation and obvious/severe spinal deformities; 6.Have had spinal surgery or metal implants in the body recently (in the past 1 year); 7.Hypertension, diabetes, serious mental disorders or mental illness; 8.It is required that you are not allowed to drink alcohol or take drugs (especially painkillers) 24 hours before the experiment, and do not engage in strenuous physical activities 48 hours before the experiment; 9.Those who can't cooperate with the completion of the corresponding evaluation and inspection and withdraw halfway; 10.There are contraindications for magnetic resonance examination (such as cardiac pacemakers, cochlear implants or other metal implants that cannot be removed, claustrophobia, etc.).
