Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Non-exercising population: (1) 16 healthy adults aged 25-50; (2) no medication taken during the experiment; (3) no alcohol or alcoholic beverages consumed during the experiment. Athletes: (1) 32 healthy adults aged 25-50; (2) no medication taken during the experiment; (3) no history of using performance-enhancing drugs, such as steroids, growth hormones, insulin, and other substances prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency; (4) elite athletes maintaining more than three training sessions per week for an extended period; (5) no alcohol or alcoholic beverages consumed during the experiment; (6) no other sports supplements taken during the experiment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Bodybuilders nearing competition; (2) Taking other exercise supplements that promote testosterone secretion; (3) Significant changes in dietary structure during the experiment period.
