Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) MDD with insomnia group: ? Age 18-65 years old, right-handed, male and female; ? Adequate comprehension ability, education level = 9 years; ? Meet the diagnostic criteria of DSM-5 Major Depressive Disorder, and SCID-5 confirms the diagnostic results; ? PSQI score = 7; ? Understand the content of the study and sign the informed consent form. (2) MDD without insomnia group: ? Age 18-65 years old, right-handed, men and women are not limited; ? Age 18-65 years old, right-handed, male or female; ? Sufficient understanding ability, education level = 9 years; ? Meet the diagnostic criteria of DSM-5 Major Depressive Disorder, and SCID-5 confirms the diagnosis; ? PSQI score < 7; ? Understand the content of the study and sign the informed consent form. 3) Healthy control group: ? Age 18-65 years old, right-handed, men and women are not limited; ? Adequate comprehension ability, education level = 9 years; (iii) SCID-5 was used to exclude any mental disorders; ? PSQI score < 7; ? Understand the content of the study and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: ? Pre-existing and current central nervous system disorders and other serious physical illnesses; ? Alcohol, drug or other psychoactive substance abusers; ? Secondary depressive episodes due to drug dependence or schizophrenia; ? Depressive episodes secondary to drug dependence or schizophrenia. ? Contraindications to MRI.
