Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? aged between 15 and 50 years old; (2) Patients who met the diagnosis of CAI and failed to respond to conservative treatment for 3 to 6 months chose surgical treatment; ? Surgical indications: imaging examination confirmed that the anterior talofibular ligament of the ankle joint was injured and its stability was reduced, but the integrity and quality were good, and the repair surgery could be completed. ? Selection of surgical methods: arthroscopic repair of the anterior talofibular ligament of the ankle; ? Informed consent was obtained from the patients.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? Bilateral ankle instability; ? revision surgery for CAI; (3) combined with other injuries: severe osteoporosis, ankle cartilage injury, fracture, multi-site, multi-ligament injury or surgical history; (4) other musculoskeletal diseases of the lower limbs affecting daily life; ? neurological diseases affect lower limb muscle strength and balance; ? patients with extremely high requirements for ankle joint function and engaged in sports; ? Poor compliance, cognitive impairment, etc.
