Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age =18 years; 2. Present more than 24 hours of stroke onset or last seen well; 3. Clinical diagnosis of AIS due to anterior/posterior circulation large vessel occlusion (common carotid artery; internal carotid artery (ICA); middle cerebral artery (MCA) M1 and M2 segment; vertebral artery (VA) V1-V4 segment; basilar artery) on DSA/CTA/MRA; 4. National Institute of Health stroke scale (NIHSS) =3; 5. Informed consent obtained from patients or their legal representatives.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Intracranial hemorrhage (ICH), including parenchymal hemorrhage, ventricular hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, and subdural/exsanguination confirmed by CT/MRI; 2. Prior modified Rankins scale (mRS)=2; 3.Pregnant or lactating women; 4. Known hereditary or acquired hemorrhagic diathesis, coagulation factor deficiency; recent oral anticoagulant therapy with International normalized ratio (INR) >3; 5. Evidence of intracranial tumor with mass effect (except small meningioma); 6. Life expectancy less than 6 months due to any advanced disease; 7. Unlikely to participate in follow-up assessments; 8. Brain herniation with midline shift; 9. Serious complications that may affect the patient's prognosis and follow-up (cancer, severe heart failure, kidney failure); 10. Presumed septic embolus, suspicion of bacterial endocarditis.
