Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.diagnosis of Grave's disease according to the 2016 American Thyroid Association Guidelines for Diagnosis and Management of Hyperthyroidism and Other Causes of Thyrotoxicosi; 2.treatment with methimazole (with or without ß-adrenergic blocker) for more than 18 months prior to ablation; 3.normal blood count, biochemistry, coagulation, and thyroid function before the start of microwave ablation;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.patients with a clear surgical indication (such as compressive goiter, suspected or documented thyroid malignancy or moderate to severe Graves’ ophthalmopathy); 2.patients with a higher risk of receiving MWA (such as severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, liver and kidney insufficiency, or coagulation dysfunction); withdrawal methimazole because of severe adverse effects or other reasons; 3.experiencing conditions that may affect thyroid functions, such as pregnancy;
