Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients: ? aged =18 years old and fasted; ? conscious: Richmond Agitation-Sedation Rating Scale (RASS)-1~1 and negative CAM-ICU delirium assessment; ? Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) =3; ? capable of completing the scale independently or with help; ? informed and voluntary participation in the study. Nurses: ? engaged in nursing in the intensive care unit; ? obtained the qualification certificate of nursing license and registered; ? college degree or above; ? informed consent and voluntary participation in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients: ?the presence of oral, audio-visual diseases; ?the combination of mental anomalies, mental retardation. Nurses: ?those who were disengaged from their positions during the study period, e.g., sick leave, maternity leave, personal leave; ?internships, rotations, and refresher nurses.
