Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: (1) patients with traumatic brain injury admitted to the intensive care unit; (2) age over 18 years; (3) Glasgow Coma Score (GCS) < 15; (4) initiation of continuous enteral nutrition via tube feeding within 48 hours of ICU admission.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: (1) patients who refuse to participate or provide relevant information; (2) patients with a history of gastrointestinal surgery within the past 6 months; (3) patients with contraindications to enteral nutrition (e.g., gastrointestinal perforation); (4) patients for whom a gastrointestinal feeding tube cannot be placed.
