PVB group:In the PVB group, before induction of general anaesthesia, the 3rd, 5th, 8th and 10th thoracic paraspinal spaces on the right side and the 6th and 9th thoracic paraspinal spaces on the left
General anaesthesia (GA) group:General anaesthesia without intervention

18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged between 18-75 years old; 2. ASA grade I-III; 3. Patients undergoing minimally invasive esophagectomy; 4. Signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Do not agree to participate in the study; 2. Have a history of chronic pain or allergy to ropivacaine or opioids; 3. Have other contraindications to nerve block such as infection at the puncture site, tumour, anatomical variations due to severe deformity, or severe coagulation disorders; 4. Have participated in other clinical trials in the 3 months prior to study entry.
