Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age is 18 years old and above 2. Patients diagnosed with idiopathic facial nerve paralysis (facial neuritis, peripheral facial nerve paralysis) at the outpatient department of Shanghai First People's Hospital 3. The initial visit date is from February 1, 2021 to January 31, 2022 4. Diagnosed and treated by a neurology specialist or emergency department physician, based on clinical manifestations consistent with idiopathic facial nerve paralysis
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of idiopathic facial nerve paralysis in the past 2. Suffering from other diseases that cause facial nerve paralysis, including cerebrovascular disease, demyelinating diseases, tumors, central nervous system infections, trauma, otitis media, mastoiditis, Melkersson Rosenthal syndrome, etc 3. Missing vaccination information and incomplete baseline data
