5 Years to 12 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) receiving PICC insertion first time; (2) aged 5-12 years; (3) be able to communicate in Mandarin; (4) the children volunteered and their parents allowed them to participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) having severe cardiac, cerebral, renal and other vital organ insufficiency or other serious complications; (2) having psychiatric diseases or cognitive disorders; (3)preoperative use of analgesics, anxiolytics, sedatives, etc.
