Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pregnant women who underwent routine outpatient obstetric examination at Nantong Maternal and Child Health Hospital and planned to have an inpatient delivery at our hospital; primigravida from 28 weeks' gestational week to the time of delivery; singleton, aged =20 and =35 years; natural conception; no indication of preterm delivery (e.g., preterm rupture of membranes, placenta previa, placenta previa, etc.); and no dyslexia or dyspraxia and consenting to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Mothers with a history of chronic fatigue or depression prior to pregnancy; pregnant women with inherited metabolic diseases or chromosomal abnormalities; pregnant women with disorders of consciousness or psychiatric disorders; and women with diabetes mellitus, hypertension, or other acute medical or surgical conditions prior to pregnancy.
