Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with chest pain: Patients admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University with acute chest pain from May 2024 to May 2025 were included. 2.ACS group: (1) Age =18 years old; (2) Suspected or confirmed ACS patients according to the Guidelines for Rapid Emergency Diagnosis and Treatment of Acute Coronary Syndrome (2019); (3) Meet ACS diagnostic criteria; Including STEMI, NSTEMI and UA newly diagnosed untreated patients; (4) Agree and sign informed consent, provide relevant medical history and provide biological specimens. 3. Non-ACS group: (1) Age =18 years old; (2) Patients with acute chest pain who were suspected to have ACS but excluded from acute coronary syndrome and matched the gender and age of ACS group; (3) Sign informed consent, provide relevant medical history and provide biological specimens. 4. High-risk group: (1) Age =18 years old, gender unlimited; (2) According to the "Chinese Adult Cardiovascular Disease Primary Prevention Risk Assessment Process" : diabetes mellitus (age =40 years) or low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) =4.9mmol/L/ total cholesterol (TC) =7.2mmol/L or chronic kidney disease (CKD) stage 3/4 of one of the risk factors. (3) No palpitation shortness of breath, chest tightness, chest pain, dizziness, dyspnea and other cardiovascular disease symptoms. (4) Sign informed consent, provide relevant clinical data and provide biological specimens. 5. Healthy control group: (1) Age =18 years old; (2) Normal blood pressure: the systolic blood pressure <140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure <90 mmHg according to the National Guidelines for the Prevention and Management of Primary Hypertension (2020); (3) Normal blood lipid: Refer to the Primary Diagnosis and Treatment Guide for Dyslipidemia (2019). Recommendations: TC=5.2 mmol/L, TG=1.7 mmol/L, HDL-C=1.0 mmol/L, LDLC=3.4 mmol/L. (4) Normal blood sugar: Referring to the National Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Grassroots Diabetes (2022), it is recommended that the hemoglobin A1c (Hb1Ac) should be <6.5% or the fasting blood glucose (FPG) should be <7.0 mmol/L. (5) No history of cardiovascular disease; (6) Agree and sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclusion criteria for patients with chest pain: (1) Gender or age data is missing; (2) Had a clear diagnosis of cardiovascular disease at baseline; (3) Incomplete clinical data. 2. Exclusion criteria for ACS group: (1) Patients with incomplete medical data and unclear medical diagnosis; (2) Suffering from other serious diseases, such as complicated with any type of cancer serious cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases (acute myocardial infarction stroke history within one year, etc.) infection, etc.; (3) Acute and chronic patients with respiratory, digestive, urinary and other systems; (4) Autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus rheumatoid rheumatism; (5) The remaining sample size is not enough to detect. 3. Exclusion criteria for the non-ACS group: (1) patients with incomplete medical data and unclear medical diagnosis; (2) suffering from other serious diseases, such as complicated with any type of cancer serious cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases (acute myocardial infarction stroke history within one year, etc.) infection, etc.; (3) Acute and chronic patients with respiratory, digestive, urinary and other systems; (4) Autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus rheumatoid rheumatism; (5) The remaining sample size is not enough to detect. 4. Exclusion criteria for high-risk groups: (1) Age < 18 years of age, or missing information on important covariates such as age or gender; (2) Cardiovascular diseases other than dyslipidemia and hypertension at baseline; (3) Acute and chronic patients with respiratory, digestive, urinary and other systems; (4) Complicated with malignant tumor; (5) Patients with Autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus rheumatoid rheumatism; (6) The remaining sample size is not enough to detect. 5. Exclusion criteria for healthy control group: (1) Patients with atherosclerosis, arrhythmia, heart failure and other cardiovascular diseases; (2) Acute and chronic patients with respiratory, digestive, urinary and other systems; (3) Complicated with malignant tumor; (4) Patients with autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid rheumatism; (5) The remaining sample size is not enough to detect.
