Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Among the cardiovascular surgery inpatients at the Second Xiangya Hospital, the inclusion criteria are as follows: (1) patients with thoracic aortic dissection requiring surgical treatment or patients requiring normal aortic trimming surgery; (2) patients who are able to understand and sign the informed consent and possess the necessary physical and cognitive abilities to complete the study; (3) patients who are willing to cooperate with the research process and can adhere to the study protocol and medical advice. 2.This retrospective study including patients with Stanford Type A aortic dissection who were hospitalized and treated in the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the Second Xiangya Hospital from January 1, 2015, to December 31, 2023.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with other severe cardiovascular diseases or complications that make them unsuitable for surgical treatment; (2) Patients with severe liver or kidney dysfunction or other major organ dysfunction; (3) Patients with advanced cancer or other terminal illnesses, with poor prognosis or who are unable to undergo surgical treatment.
