Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants were eligible if they met the following criteria: (1) Overhead athletes, including those participating in sports such as volleyball, tennis, and badminton; (2) Average pain intensity during the past 14 days greater than 3; (3) Shoulder pain persisting for more than 3 months; (4) Age between 18-35 years old.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants were excluded if they had: (1) Shoulder instability, dislocation, subluxation, or other trauma; (2) Shoulder or neck fractures, or surgical treatment within the past year; (3) Acute disc herniation and degenerative neurological diseases; (4) Receiving other treatments.
