Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diabetes mellitus alone: The diagnostic criteria for diabetes mellitus are the 2023 ADA guidelines, and glutamate decarboxylase antibodies, insulin autoantibodies and other tests are performed to exclude adult autoimmune diabetes, without other inflammatory diseases, hypertension, coronary heart disease, tumors, severe liver and kidney damage, and cardiac insufficiency. Ischemic stroke: Patients diagnosed with acute ischemic stroke, who come to our hospital within 24 hours of onset and have a clear clinical diagnosis, and sign an informed consent form. Ischemic stroke cases are classified into 5 types according to the TOAST etiology widely used internationally. In the process of selecting ischemic stroke cases in this project, the cases of atherosclerotic cerebral infarction were mainly included, and the other four types of ischemic stroke, such as cardioembolic type, arteriolar occlusion type, other types of definite etiology and unexplained type, were excluded.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Refusal of the patient and his or her family to participate in the study; 2. Patients with a history of malignant tumors or other malignant tumors complicated by surgery before surgery; 3. Combined with severe heart, liver, kidney and lung lesions, blood and immune diseases; 4. Unable to complete the examination with mental illness, severe consciousness or language communication disorder and other fatal diseases; 5. History of severe head trauma or stroke within the past 3 months, arterial puncture at non-compression site within the past 14 days, or major surgery; 6. Intracranial arteriovenous malformation or aneurysm; 7. Pregnant or lactating patients; 8. Patients with active infection;
