Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Children diagnosed with acute liver failure who were admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of Jilin University First Hospital from January 2014 to May 1, 2024. The diagnostic criteria for pediatric acute liver failure are: ? Children without underlying chronic liver disease exhibit liver injury and develop severe liver dysfunction within 8 weeks of clinical liver disease onset; ? Coagulation disorders that cannot be corrected by vitamin K1 injection; ? Prothrombin time (PT) > 20s or International Normalized Ratio (INR) > 2.0, with no hepatic encephalopathy; or in cases of hepatic encephalopathy, PT > 15s or INR > 1.5. (2) Age range: 28 days < age = 16 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with incomplete information; (2) Those who give up treatment midway.
